Lila is survived by her son, Robert Robillard, and his wife, Donna Benz, of Bound Brook, NJ; her daughter, Renee Robillard, and her husband, James Lynch, of Albuquerque; her brother, Robert Peregrine, and his wife, Donna, of Rapid City, SD; her sister, Betty Schumann, of Fairmont, MN; and many wonderful Peregrine and Robillard nieces and nephews and their children.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert "Bob" G.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at a.m.at the First United Methodist Church in Sturgis with Pastor Jenene Earl officiating.Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.She and Bob moved to Staten Island in 1947, where they raised their two children.The couple moved to Milford, NJ, in 1972, and then back to Sturgis in 1985, when Bob retired.Bill then attended school in Sturgis where he met his high school sweetheart, Sally Hardy.
Bill and Sally tied the knot on July 29, 1967, in Sturgis.
Lila Mae Peregrine Robillard, was born in Newell, SD, on November 2, 1922, to Glenn and May (Boyner) Peregrine.
Lila grew up in and attended school through the seventh grade in Mud Butte, SD, and went to eighth grade and high school in Sturgis, SD.
For the last 22 years, Bill and his son, Clay, have been running CMW/Equi Racks. He and his beautiful bride celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 29, 2017.
Although he may not have always showed how deep his affection was, he loved his children and grandchildren and was very proud of them and their accomplishments.
When he was young, his family moved to the Moreau River area in Perkins County.
